2026-04-30T00:00:07 I was able to get the most recent Total Overhaul MOMW modlist to work with 0.50.1 OpenMW VR by deleting the following lines from the openmw.cfg: "content=momw-gameplay.omwscripts" (openmw.log would show a crash immediately after OpenMW VR would reorient tracking which for some reason is associated with this content file) and the two lines associated with the multimark mod (An error message stays on the screen saying that you need to 2026-04-30T00:00:07 update OpenMW for this mod to work properly so I found it in openmw.cfg and removed the two corresponding lines). Unlike before deleting these lines, I am able to make a character and travel around without issue which I've been completely unable to do prior. I havn't encountered any crashes but I'm wondering what potential issues could arise from the line "content=momw-gameplay.omwscripts" being removed from the cfg file 2026-04-30T00:48:30 The mod mostly just sets some sane default options so you don't have too 2026-04-30T00:49:23 https://modding-openmw.gitlab.io/momw-gameplay/ 2026-04-30T00:53:07 floating waterfalls 2026-04-30T00:53:08 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/995021436924203199/1499211968035291156/image.png?ex=69f3f973&is=69f2a7f3&hm=1eb2c953d32542e609c50377a401576b85bc4bc3f58cb16064881f2b603f93f6& 2026-04-30T00:53:18 Lua[Player] print, self.position function: 0x01ee75c58a70 (-66057.6796875, -143971.53125, 5057) 2026-04-30T00:53:31 total-overhaul-wip 2026-04-30T07:07:54 guys is "fortify maximum health" a possible script in openmw? as in; could you mod in an item with that specific effect? 2026-04-30T07:18:38 <.arrean> It's a yes with an asterisk. It's possible via a script, and with new changes on 0.51 one can likely make an enchanted item that does it 2026-04-30T07:22:37 I was asking because I found an item in Dwemer Legacy Reforged - Arkngthunch-Sturdumz that has the "fortify health" effect and unfortunately that effect in morrowind works by just increasing your current health which means that once you lose those fortified HP you need to unequip the item, heal back to full, and then wear it again 2026-04-30T07:22:57 I was wondering if I could go into the mod's files and change it myself to see if it's possible 2026-04-30T07:24:44 <.arrean> Alternatively: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/56523?tab=files 2026-04-30T07:25:04 oh sweet 2026-04-30T07:25:08 thank you! 2026-04-30T07:25:16 that's much better 2026-04-30T07:25:24 the effect is kind of awkward to begin with 2026-04-30T07:25:30 <.arrean> It is 2026-04-30T07:25:37 <.arrean> especially in that it can actually kill you 2026-04-30T07:25:41 yeah 2026-04-30T07:25:56 once the effect is gone you lose those HP regardless 2026-04-30T07:26:32 <.arrean> yup. It's the same in oldwind engine - your "real" health runs out first 2026-04-30T07:26:49 Yeah I remember the effect always working like this 2026-04-30T07:27:33 I presume the mod works with TO since you suggested it but I'll ask anyway to make sure 2026-04-30T07:28:12 <.arrean> it shouldn't not work. But - I just hang out here. I run most mods that are included in TO, except the graphic ones, but I don't run the list itself 2026-04-30T07:28:24 <.arrean> So don't take my advice as indication :D 2026-04-30T07:28:41 Mostly wondering about mods like natural growth etc 2026-04-30T07:28:58 Stuff that actually messes with how attributes work and such 2026-04-30T07:29:00 <.arrean> TO includes Skill Evolution which is the other half of NCG+SE pair 2026-04-30T07:29:18 <.arrean> I don't actually know why SE is included but NCG is omitted 2026-04-30T07:29:22 <.arrean> there may be a reason for that 2026-04-30T07:29:27 NCG is included 2026-04-30T07:29:30 <.arrean> ah 2026-04-30T07:29:31 <.arrean> duh 2026-04-30T07:29:33 I have it because of TO 2026-04-30T07:29:35 <.arrean> brainfart 2026-04-30T07:29:40 maybe at some point it wasn't 2026-04-30T07:29:48 <.arrean> nah, I'm just tripping 2026-04-30T07:29:59 <.arrean> in any case - I run NCG and the fortify health fix 2026-04-30T07:30:03 <.arrean> seems to be fine 2026-04-30T07:30:11 <.arrean> if there are edge cases - I didn't notice them 2026-04-30T07:30:39 NCG is the one I'd be concerned over since it directly affects how HP is calculated, I dont recall anything else doing that 2026-04-30T07:30:46 I'll test it out, thanks again 2026-04-30T07:51:16 I'm having a problem with fullscreen 2026-04-30T07:51:24 it all just goes black 2026-04-30T07:53:54 I changed my monitor just yesterday. Is that it? 2026-04-30T18:44:43 I keep trying to sync but it gives me this error 2026-04-30T18:44:44 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/995021436924203199/1499481644799885422/image.png?ex=69f4f49b&is=69f3a31b&hm=cef633315a3b991cb5e203c455a95a2ce2d693af4aa0c37f680ef7da816ed5f1& 2026-04-30T18:44:50 can anybody help me please? 2026-04-30T18:47:26 after tryng to install again, I got this 2026-04-30T18:47:27 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/995021436924203199/1499482328018456686/message.txt?ex=69f4f53e&is=69f3a3be&hm=a3bbe83a574c38e58a07a1add6f2825bb4ca1f53b1717a4e7b4d14b8a40c6e8e& 2026-04-30T19:27:04 <.gonzo.> what command did you use 2026-04-30T21:01:23 Momw sets cameras in third person. Maybe that's why VR is crushing? 2026-04-30T21:53:33 try to set resolution on config file, not in game. I think screen can go black due to not supported resolutions 2026-04-30T21:54:25 do you have 60 GB extra for cache? 2026-04-30T22:31:45 Out of curiosity, why were Nastier Comonna Tong and Idle Talk removed from Total Overhaul?
