2026-06-10T05:13:05 Daybreak, the company that owns the Everquest IP, is releasing something called Everquest Legends. It's sort of like a solo player focused version of classic everquest that allows groups up to four palyers and raids up to eight players. I played on the private server that some would argue was the progenitor to EQ legends and it was fascinating and a good time leveling/gearing up then taking on the classic EQ raids solo. 2026-06-10T17:59:55 A weak universe cannot be saved after all 2026-06-10T18:04:09 modders gave up on starfield because its just too boring 2026-06-10T18:04:40 how do you make a space game boring. people even played the hell out of no mans sky when it had no content 2026-06-10T18:05:05 A vision with no art direction 2026-06-10T18:05:12 What did todd expected seriously 2026-06-10T18:35:23 Solo player Everquest no thank you 2026-06-10T18:35:51 The best thing about old MMOs that all the new ones are missing is the forced socialization 2026-06-10T18:36:22 Pushing you to actually go talk to a human being and have a conversation about partying up for group content or to trade something 2026-06-10T18:36:45 as opposed to hitting a "queue" button and wordlessly getting slammed into a group to just run the content treadmill 2026-06-10T18:42:56 Solo player Everquest can be a good time if you appreciate in a vacuum. Good opportunity to see some places that are otherwise inaccessible or require as substantial amount of time investment to see in the base game.
