I tried making an inverted huge sphere with a texture but the sphere is either too big and barely visible or too small and clipping into distant objects. Can I just designate a new sky texture for just one cell? 2026-05-05T19:30:51 I don' think 🙁 2026-05-05T19:31:15 Or maybe with a custom weather 🤔 2026-05-05T20:09:33 Hello folks, I'm interested in modding OpenMW but I've got no experience. I'm mainly interested in making first person animations, but I cannot seem to find very helpful resources online How can I go about this ? I do know how to animate on Blender, I just don't know how to set it up to make Morrowind animations I found a rig online, but does the third person and first person use the same rig ? I'm not too sure Any help 2026-05-05T20:09:33 is appreciated ! 2026-05-05T20:16:21 Best should be to use the models from the game. You extract the nifs from the bsa and open with Greatness7's nif addon for blender. And yes, one model for third person and one for first person. Same for female and beast races. 2026-05-05T20:21:10 Alright, for that I need to unpack the BSAs correct ? does the Bethesda Archive Extractor on Nexus work for Morrowind ? 2026-05-05T20:21:12 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1356001106211115229/1501317862281969694/DD91CC78-7472-49EA-AF9D-461AD8833F84.png?ex=69fba2b7&is=69fa5137&hm=bba64407d04075ad168e3591045901c3dcef63f823e378ac73cda2fed70cc6d2& 2026-05-05T20:21:22 because this is what it says on its description, I'm not sure if it works for mW 2026-05-05T20:22:20 I think that should, i have extract mine to much time ago, i don't really remember the tools 🥴 2026-05-05T20:40:37 Alright, I was able to extract the BSAs , and I found the animations nifs under the meshes folder. I did NOT know that morrowind has all the character animations in a single nif If you don't mind helping me a bit more, How would I go about changing one of the animations ? I imported the nif into blender using the plugin you recommended, but how can I find a specific animation to change ? Do I have to just keep 2026-05-05T20:40:37 scrolling on the playback tab until I find what I want ? 2026-05-05T21:05:28 <.hemaris> i know there are text keys with the names of the animation groups, and i know there is A way to see them in blender, but i've never done any animation work. so that's all i can tell you
